In perfect condition

The silver is currently worth about .40US and the gold plating is worth less than that. I would say the coin is worth about US. I hope that helps.

Question by hopes2graduate: Is my 1oz Silver Dollar worth more than a dollar? Just curious.?
Got a silver dollar as an award for work. Wondering how much its worth. Says Liberty on one side with a woman sowing a field and a rising or setting sun behind her. Minted in 2006. The back is a US emblem with the eagle. Probably dont want to get rid of it. Just curious. Do they rise in value and where to buy also? THANKS!

To put it simply, your collection is worth whatever someone will give you for it. There is some lower limit, just because there are precious metals involved.

Gold is currently worth 0/troy ounce. Your 5 dollar gold piece is worth over 0 just for the gold content. Hint: gold prices are expected to continue to rise due to inflation.

Your "silver" coins are not all pure silver. depending on the year and denomination, they may be 90% or even 75% silver. Silver is worth roughly /troy ounce.

The other things are of interest only to collectors, so I cannot estimate their value. You could look at similar offerings on E-bay or visit a coin shop.
