If you are taking about the box that the mint sends to the people thy picked to sell the uncirculate ones, you will have to find one of them. The mint may help you on that for I don't think their names are a secret for I have seen them published from time to time. Question by anubis: How to tell the difference on a 2008 silver eagle?
How do you tell the difference between the 2007 reverse and the 2008 reverse? I can't see the difference between any years reverses. I keep seeing these "Error Eagles" for sale for 0 and up. Stating that it is a 2008 with a 2007 reverse. Please tell me how to see the difference.

There are several noticeable differences, but the easiest to see is the U in United. The 2007 reverse has uneven thickness of sides or 'legs' of the U, and no serif (what some call a spur) at the bottom right. The 2008 reverse shows a more-uniform in appearance U with the serif.

The bars are just bulk silver. What they look like doesn't matter. The coins have a higher manufacturing cost.

The best, safest way to purchase coins: go to the bank you have your mortgage, loans, accounts with: make an appointment with you branch manager or asst. mngr. mr.
Specifically ask him or her with whom the bank secures their funds with. Believe it or not, banks have their own portfolios; many of these portfolios contain currency (including precious metal currency. Do not purchase online. Accountability is the key here. You want a name, a face, a paper trail.

When a corporation that relies strictly on online or telephone purchase goes belly up, it is very difficult to have that accountability. In spite of what you have heard, you local bank has a myriad of local (and that's the operational word) resources.

Victor vs. Charles

A woman in Idaho gave birth to a baby. After four months, the baby began to develop a pair of wings, a beak, and a horn. After seeing such horrible incidence, his parents were forced to abandon their child because he is slowly turning into a monster. Even though it’s wrong and against their will, his parents put him in a basket and threw it in the river. The basket was slowly carried away by the currents of the river until it reached a forest. When it reached the forest, Victor the baby crawled out of the box. Victor has a beak and a pair of wings like that of an eagle’s, he throws fire from his mouth, he has horns on his head, he can be invisible, he flies at a speed of 150 Km. per hour, and he can heal and mature very fast. He feeds on many animals especially reptiles or people who would trespass his territory. He goes to sleep on top of the tallest trees, and would dwell in the caves at daytime. On the fifth year of his existence, he’s already a 20 year old human person. When he was old and strong enough, he began to spread terror across the country. Victor burned down a church in Wisconsin. After two weeks, Victor robbed a bank in California and killed 180 people in the state. After five days, Victor destroyed many houses, and a hospital in the state of Utah. Hundreds of families were homeless, and many patients felt worse. After a month, he brutally killed 57 innocent children in an orphanage in Texas. He continued to attack many innocent people. Thousands of people were mercilessly killed or severely injured every month and numerous properties were destroyed. No one would dare to face Victor’s fury. After four years, Charles was born. He looks like any ordinary person. He can teleport, he is telekinetic, he can turn into any kind of animal, and like Victor he can mature very fast. Charles was the only hope of everyone against Victor. After ten months since he was born, he’s already a 20 year old man. He was born in Kentucky and he lives there. He was born on September. Victor and Charles met at a farm in Texas by chance. The two attacked each other and it caught the attention of everyone there. Everybody was cheering for Charles. Unfortunately, Charles was killed when Victor burned down his chest. Everyone was sad for Charles failed in his mission. According to Charles’ mother, in order to resurrect Charles the old paper with a picture of a white rose, a king’s palace, a blue eagle, a red dragon, and a silver trophy must be rubbed on his chest to heal him. Also, when performing that, there should be a green candle with a purple light to be placed directly above his head, and a bottle of sparkling wine poured all over his body. At midnight, Victor silently took the paper, the candle including the purple light, and the bottle which were hidden in the attic so Charles will remain dead. Fortunately, a witness saw Victor through the window from his porch. The witness has a plan. He, together with the neighbors went to Idaho and distracted Victor’s attention by allowing him to chase them but they ran around in different directions in order to confuse him. While he was away, the witness searched everywhere in Victor’s house and found the missing items needed. When they arrived home, the process of resurrecting Charles was done. Charles was resurrected and went to Victor’s place. Victor and Charles fought and everyone prayed and supported Charles. After a couple of hours, Charles was declared as winner. Victor died after Charles divided his body into half with a sword using his telekinetic powers. The whole country celebrated Charles’ triumphant battle. Charles was given many rewards and prizes after his successful victory. Charles became a very popular hero and has promised to save anyone who is in danger for the rest of his life.

The silver is currently worth about .40US and the gold plating is worth less than that. I would say the coin is worth about US. I hope that helps.
